A defeated breath

a silent sigh
it connects with the wind
the fear in heart has never been less
the ocean invites hungry lives
that couldn't resist the pain to be told

the knees, they shook trying to put feets
on the railing
a cloudy feeling heats the chest
a fire is about to grow, to glow
fingers numb, breath asleep

to choke of anguish, the final touch in heart
the feet to slowly slip off the pier 
beaten up by waves, the emotions of the ocean
it puts us in perspective
the human creature, a defeated breath
a jump out of life
